Western PA Beekeeper Seminar

Managing and maintaining healthy, high-producing honeybees are the goals of every beekeeper, and success in beekeeping lies with healthy bees, good nectar flows, and knowledgeable honeybee managers. Penn State Extension, Burgh Bees, and local western Pennsylvania beekeeping associations are proud to offer this year’s seminar to address these and other facets of successful beekeeping.

Speakers include: Dr. Roger Hoopingarner, Elizabeth (Izzy) Hill and Doug Oster.

Break-out sessions and a Beginning Beekeeping workshop will be offered on Saturday 8-4 p.m.

Some vendors attending the seminar have let us know they are taking orders for equipment (including items not usually qualifying for free shipping) that they will bring to the seminar without shipping costs.
