Open Apiary July 21st

Want to learn more about bees and beekeeping?  Want to see inside a beehive?  Want to tour our Certified Pollination Gardens then, come out to our monthly Open Apiary.

Protective head equipment will be provided. Please wear or bring long sleeved shirts, preferably with a collar, and long pants (no Capris or shorts please!). Also closed-toed shoes such as tennis shoes are recommended! A $10 suggested donation per person to Burgh Bees is appreciated. Registration is limited to 15 attendees, so register early!

Members of the Penn State Master Gardner Program will be on hand to talk about the importance of pollinator gardens, point out the different plants found at the Apiary, and to answer any questions you have.
