10:30 AM – 11:30 AM: Identification of plants currently in bloom
– bring samples from your local area.

1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Discussion of honey extracting equipment/processes.
2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Informal discussion with Q&A.

To make the picnic easier for everyone, we are going to have the picnic catered instead of asking everyone to bring a pot luck dish. Everything will be provided except for any alcoholic beverage you would like to bring. Park rules don’t allow glass bottles.

The Cooked Goose will provide a buffet of fried chicken, roast beef, baked ziti in marinara sauce, potato salad, pasta salad, cole slaw, rolls with butter, and apple crisp. Burgh Bees will provide assorted sodas, combination iced tea – lemon aide, and water.

Cost: $5 per adult. Kids under 18 are free.

We will be in the Apache Shelter. There are no electrical outlets in the shelter. There is a playground for kids nearby and dogs are welcome in the park.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
