Apiary Work Day

We will be having a workday at the Apiary on Saturday, July 11th.  Open to all volunteers.

Please give as much time as you can between 9am and 2pm.

The Apiary is located at 6900 Block of Susquehanna St, 15208 – in the Homewood Neighborhood of Pittsburgh.

The areas of focus will be the following:

1. Weeding beds and around the pathway

2. Mowing and weeding

3. Getting our new plants into the ground.

Things to bring –

• tools for weeding (shovels, trowels, hand rakes), spreading mulch (garden rake), wheelbarrow, clippers, gloves, etc
• snacks/refreshments to share (e.g. fruit, coffee, bagels, growlers)
